As many of you know I’m studying towards a degree in the hope that I will be able to do my teacher training.
The module I’m currently studying covers child psychology and some of it is hard going. The assignment I’ve recently completed covered the importance of early interactions, I found this quite difficult to write due to my own issues from childhood. The assignment caused me a few tears and constant rewriting everything and being very critical of myself.
When I handed in the assignment I genuinely thought I would scrape a pass and that would be enough. Getting my assignment back today has shown me that I need to have a bit more faith in my own abilities and although it is important to listen to your inner critic it is just as important to believe in your abilities. I get told a lot that I should have more confidence in myself and after this I can see how true that is.
